Studies of Science
Biology is the study of living things. Living things are known as organisms.
Biology:
Biology is broken down into several branches:
-Botany - which is the study of plants.
-Zoology - which is the study of animals.
-Physiology - which is the study of how the body works.
-Anatomy - which is the study of the structure of living things. Living things respond to stimuli, grow, feed, produce energy, get rid of poisonous waste, produce offspring, are made of cells.
- Ecology - which is the study of where organisms live.
- Nutrition - which is the study of food and how living things feed.
-Heredity - which is the study of how characteristics ae passed from parents to their offsprings.
